About the role
On offer is a full time Automotive Mechanic position responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair to the bus and coach fleet to a level that ensures bus safety and roadworthiness. The role is based at the Warrnambool depot, reporting to the Workshop Manager.
The position includes daily driving and workshop duties to maintain a fleet of modern, state of the art vehicles. Pay and conditions are based on Company EA and Award including a 38-hour week along with rotational weekend overtime as rostered.
The successful candidate requires:
- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology
- Heavy Rigid licence or the ability to obtain
- Workshop experience (Heavy diesel an asset)
- Bus Driver’s Accreditation (or the ability to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (VIC) (or the ability to obtain)
- Customer centric attitude
